Ode à l'hiver

Oh! Comme je me sens seul,
Si seul
Toute cette blancheur qui m'enveloppe
et qui me devore
lentement...
Je marche à petits pas
me dirige vers la chaleur,
toucher,
sentir,
frémir...
Mais le froid persiste...

The snow is around, starving. It catches you and feeds on your heart. Your feelings go away, left is ice, darkness and despair. Then close is heat. Only the heat will bring back the rain and then the sun. You need that heat, ou need to feel it, to drink it, to know it's inside you and never leaving. Only that way the snow stays away...
